Publishing is the process of production and distribution of literature or information – the activity of making information available for public view.
Publishing is all about different types of media such as social media, blogs like this one, websites, games, newspapers, books, events, leaflets and magazines which I will be creating at a later point in the future.
The traditional types of products to publish would be newspapers, magazines, books, events and leaflets, but now in the digital age the products that might be published are websites, blogs, games and social media.
Some examples of publishing companies are: DNG Media, Penguin Books, Conde Nast, IPC, Faber and Faber, MacMillan, Oxford and Cambridge.
